1. Position your Keywords

It's critical to position your keywords in the "right" places of your website such as across your title, meta tags, and body of your web page.

2. Maintain Keywords Relationships

Try to keep a close relationship of your targeted keywords in the first two paragraphs of the body of the page.
Following is the example for keyword "consultancy business":

Start your own coaching business or "consultancy business"! We offer training, mentoring, software, systems, tools, processes and even marketing for those individuals that are thinking of starting their own "consultancy business" or business coaching.

3. Build Link Strategy

It is not important to have hundreds and hundreds of links from your link partners. What really matters is to secure 5-10 links from highly ranked relevant websites. That will help you to increase your PageRank to 4-5.

 

1. Include only Images

If your web site contains only images, flash, javascript etc, it will be ignored by the search engines because they can’t read those graphics. Please remember to provide valuable information not just “good looking” image. Whenever possible, use HTML text on your web pages and keep the amount of text and graphics in balance.

2. Re-direct your website

Search Engines don't like redirect websites so try to avoid using re-directing in your website. Redirect website is a website that, when clicked, automatically loads another website.

3. Hide the Text

Search Engines don't like to find a hidden text on your website so try to avoid this practice. The hidden text is a text that a visitor can not see properly: it's either in the same colour as the backround of the page or the text is too small.




Last Note: DON'T SPAM Search Engines

If you submit your website too often you're at risk that your website will be banned by search engines. Here are some general rules when submitting your web site:

  • Do not submit the SAME URL multiple times in one day.
  • Do not submit more than 5 different URLs under the same domain in one day.
  • If you have many URLs(or pages) under the same domain, please only submit 3 to 5 pages each day.
  • Always make some changes to your web site before re-submitting.
  • Do not re-submit the SAME URL more than once per month.
